The Switchback — Limited Edition Copper Rivet Keychain

Most keychains are held together by a machine and a squeeze. This one is closed the old way — by hand, with a hammer. Our Limited Edition Switchback is fastened with a genuine solid copper rivet and burr, hand-peened one strike at a time until it seats tight and permanent. No two are set exactly alike, and that's the point. This is the mark of a maker at the bench, not a press on a line.

Underneath the copper, it's the Switchback you know. A single length of full-grain Bourbon leather folds back on itself and locks down low, so your keys ride where you want them. That warm, reddish-brown leather only deepens with age and handling, and the raw copper will earn its own patina right alongside it — the two darkening together, the way good materials do.

The hardware is all business. A genuine HK Sling Lever Snap clip in solid iron, finished in Matte Black, pairs with a rugged 1" split ring. The result is quiet, rugged, and unmistakably handmade — copper warmth against blacked-out steel.
