Bottle Openers CNC Cutting File

If you own a CNC, and would like to make bottle openers on your machine, then you will like this file set! This set includes 3 shapes in vector format that can be used with any CNC design software, and any hobbyist or professional CNC machine. You will need to re-size & re-create the tool paths if only using the shapes. I include a detailed set of instructions showing the the geometries to be selected for each carve as well as providing the speeds and feeds for each bit used.

A Carveco Maker file is included and can be used as-is or edited to suit your needs. If you own a Onefinity brand CNC machine with the BuildBotics (black box) controller, then you can use the included g-code files that are ready-to-run. You’ll just need to make sure you are using the correct material size.

The file you will receive is in *.zip compressed format. Once you open (expand) it you will find:

• A complete set of full color instructions in .pdf format

• (3) Vector shapes in both SVG & DXF formats (suitable for any CNC design software)

• G-Code file suitable for running straight from your Onefinity CNC w/ BuildBotics (Blackbox) controller. Post-processed, ready-to-run.

• A Carveco Maker .ART file ready to be opened and edited if you use Carveco Maker.

The materials and CNC bits required for this project are outlined below:

CNC Bits:

• 1/4” Downcut Endmill (I suggest the .25 “The Jenny” Compression bit from Cadence Manufacturing. Use Code APPCRAFT on checkout and save 10%!

Material Size Required:

Your hardwood stock needs to be at least 5” x 20” and should be .75” thick.
(150mm x 550mm x 19.05mm)
